Lutheran Bible Translators is not funded by any of the Lutheran denominations. We are a faith based mission organization. This means that each missionary is given an income goal based on his or her budget for that year and partners in mission are given the opportunity to help reach that goal so that the mission of bringing God's Word to those who don't yet have it in the language of their heart can go forward. The mission of making disciples of all nations is not ours alone, it belongs to you, the church of Christ. We are merely your ambassadors going where many of you cannot go and doing that which many of you haven't been trained to do.
What is a partner in mission?
We define a partner in mission as a person, group, or church who shares our vision of reaching Bible-less people groups with the Word of God in their own language. A prayer partner is a partner who chooses to act on the vision by committing to pray specifically for us and our ministry on a daily basis. A financial partner is a partner who chooses to act on the vision by committing to give regularly to our ministry. When we have achieved our goal of 28 committed prayer partners and monthly contributions to our ministry of $6400 from a core of committed financial partners, we will depart for our mission assignment.
How can you become partners in this mission?
You can become a missionary:
We are seeking a partner to assist us with our children's education. It can be a long term (3-4 year) commitment or a short term (1 year) commitment. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or anyone interested in a mission/cross-cultural teaching type of sabbatical or internship! Contact us to find out more!
You can become a prayer partner:
We are seeking a committed core group of people willing to pray for us. We need brothers and sisters in the faith to pray for us in our struggles and to hold us accountable as we work together as a team in mission. Contact us via email if you are led to seek that role.
You can become a financial partner:
Our ministry budget relies on the regular contributions of supporters. You can support this ministry on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis, or as often as you are able. No gift is too large or too small and you can be assured that your contributions are handled with the highest integrity. You may give a gift in many ways:

Whichever method you choose, please be sure to indicate "Rudowske Ministry" on your gift. Undesignated gifts go to the general operation of LBT and are not available to our ministry.

If you choose this method, we will send the net proceeds of your gift to LBT designated for our ministry in your name.
