I just spent 14 of the last 34 hours driving from Saint Louis to Tulsa Oklahoma and back.  As crazy as it sounds, I LOVE driving on the open road, down America's highways.  I feel calm and at peace when cruising down the road.  Chris, Katherine and I have been studying American history the last 16 months and it is so cool to see so many of the places that people were born at or lived in.  Did you know that many significant Civil War battles were fought in central Missouri?  As a youth, George Washington Carver lived in Neosho Missouri, about a half an hour away from Oklahoma.

Anyways, I guess we got the right job, because we get to travel a lot.  We move north for five weekends in Michigan starting this next weekend.   Continue to pray for our vehicles to operate well and stay breakdown free during our remaining time.  The whole family is going to St Joseph this weekend for Rich's installation as missionary with LCMS World Mission, our denomination's calling agency.  World Mission then assigns Rich to do his work with LBT.  Not much else to report right now, of course, I did just spend 14 of the last 34 hours driving, so maybe I need some sleep.  Take care.
