Our family has been waiting 2009 for quite some time with the knowledge that at some point during that faraway year, we would be moving to Africa for our first term! Now it is finally here! We are so excited and in awe of how far we've come and we continue to trust God for the growth in our family that will be necessary for us to thrive on the field.

If I could reduce 2008 to a picture it would be one like this one from our travels this summer - our family in so much transition, spending time together and learning what it means to be a missionary family in the US, forming partnerships, and participating in the lives of so many of Christ's churches.  It has truly been a remarkable time for us.  We are looking forward to all that we will do and see in 2009 and are thankful to the God who leads us through all our journeys.  Happy New Year!!
