The Big 3-5

Well - it's true. I (Rich) turned 35 on Sunday. Which means I'm old enough to be elected president now. I figure it's a little late to start on the 2008 campaign but maybe I'll shoot for 2012. Anyways, I spent birthday morning at Saint John Lutheran Church in Gregory South Dakota. Had a potluck and shared birthday dinner with 157 fine people. After that we drove west about three hours to the Black Hills region of South Dakota where we were going to tent camp, but upon viewing the crazy storms in the sky, we opted instead to stop (I mean I just randomly saw a place on the side of the road and stopped) to rent a small log cabin for two nights. Anyways, to keep on the president theme, we went to Mount Rushmore yesterday and also saw some other crazy sites around Rapid City South Dakota. And for anyone who is wondering, we did go to Wall Drug too. (Google it if you never heard of it). We are headed back to Presho - our South Dakota home base - later today and we have four more speaking engagements between Wednesday and Sunday before heading back to Saint Louis to get the little guys started in school. So, that's about all for now. Remember: Rudowske in 2012 - because by then regardless of who gets elected this year, we'll be ready for a change right?

Glad you had a great birthday - I was thinking of you of course - twins gotta virtual hug, right? Would definitely vote for you in 2012...but then again should we have a president? You gotta read the book - "Jesus for President". -Jenny

*Off to Google Wall Drug*
