Christmas Eve!  The kiddos spent the day helping Grammy Grammy, Aunt Jenny, and Maya make cookies and other baked goods while I tried to work on my sermon for Sunday.  For Christmas Eve we spent the evening as traditionally we do at the Rudowske home with my parents.  It was a quieter evening than normal with Grandma Joyce still on the recovery phase from a chemo treatment last week.  It was a good time with Grandma's veggie squares and of course, her frosted Christmas cookies which she made in massive quantities on a day she was pumped up on steroids before the chemo treatment.  It is unbelievable what she has been through with this treatment for cancer, but she has come through it well and has only one more treatment left.
