Dear friends,

Another month has sailed by and the Lord has done so much!  Rich, Chris & Kathy finished the last of their extended trips away from home and are back in Saint Louis.  Things stay busy though as we travel together for the next several weekends to Iowa, Illinois, and good ole Michigan one more time.

We met our funding goal for the end of April and yesterday afternoon received official word from LBT that we are approved to depart to our assignment in Botswana.  This does not mean that we no longer need funding, as we now need to maintain this level of funding.  We ask you to pray for the Lord to continue to provide financial partners to join in our ministry. 

This does mean that we will now begin the process of negotiating when we will arrive in Botswana, orientation, etc.  Our colleague Carl Knight is traveling and researching housing on our behalf until next week, so we request your prayers for his safe travel, wisdom, and that he has success.

One other exciting piece of news:  We have received another generous grant toward our vehicle fund and are now only $5000 away from having what we need to purchase our vehicle!  We ask you to consider a one time special gift in the next month to help to close this gap and put the last piece in place for our summer transition to Botswana.  Gifts may be sent to LBT designated 'Rudowske Vehicle' at this address:  Lutheran Bible Translators, PO Box 2050 Aurora IL 60507.  Online giving is also available at www.LBT.org or contact Sharon Vega at 1-800-532-4253. 

This is a very exciting time for our family and we thank you all for your support, prayer, and encouragement.  God is doing an awesome work in order to put His word in the hands and on the hearts of the Kgalagari people!
